OXYCODONE EG LP (oxycodone hydrochloride) is a centrally acting, potent pain treatment of the group of opioids.
OXYCODONE EG LP is used to treat severe pain that can only be adequately relieved with opioid analgesics
OXYCODONE EG LP is indicated for adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older.

Do not take OXYCODONE EG LP 10 mg, prolonged-release film-coated tablet
you are allergic to oxycodone hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medication (listed in section 6);
you suffer from severe respiratory failure (respiratory depression) with too little oxygen in your blood (hypoxia) and/or too much carbon dioxide in your blood (hypercapnia);
you suffer from severe chronic pulmonary insufficiency, cor pulmonale (heart changes due to chronic overload of the pulmonary circulation) or acute and severe bronchial asthma;
you have bowel dysfunction with bowel obstruction (paralytic ileus);
you have an acute abdomen or suffer from slow gastric emptying.
