History
DeForest Training School, founded by Dr. Herman DeVry in Chicago in 1931 to train students for technical employment in electronics, motion pictures, radio, and eventually television, led to the founding of DeVry University. The first associate degree in electrical engineering technology began to be made available to students in 1957.
With almost 80,000 graduate and undergraduate students enrolled, it became known as DeVry Institute in 2002. DeVry University reports that more than 237,000 students have graduated since 1975. It also boasts more than 90 campuses across North America and offers degree programmes in technology, science, business, the arts, and management. Today, the university’s commitment to excellence in education has played a crucial role in improving the lives of tens of thousands of students.

DeVry University accepts about 25,235 students annually. The University offers candidates from all over the world an easy path to admission with a high acceptance rate of 93%. Over 17,936 undergraduate students and 7,299 graduate students are enrolled in the university’s various programmes. The academic schedule of the institution is based on semesters.
