Five Nights at Freddy’s is an addictive horror game (FNAF)
The first installment of Scott Cawthon’s indie point-and-click survival horror video game series is Five Nights at Freddy’s. It was released on Desura on August 8, 2014 (though it was later removed at an unknown date), and on Steam on August 18, 2014. The player’s goal is to stay at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza for five nights without being detected, stuffed into a mascot costume, and so killed by the animatronic characters; this is performed by watching their movements using the restaurant’s security cameras. The game takes place in the same timeframe as Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 and serves as a precursor to Five Nights at Freddy’s 3, making it the series’ fourth installment.
You must monitor the security cameras from your modest workplace. You are only allowed a specific quantity of electricity per night (corporate budget cuts, you know). When the electricity goes out for the night, no more security doors or lights! If something isn’t right, such as Freddybear or his companions not being in their rightful spots, you must locate them on the monitors and, if necessary, defend yourself!
