The NTA (National Testing Agency) conducted a NEET re-exam on Sunday 4th September 2022. The exam was conducted for students who faced issues / glitches during the first iteration of the exam on 17th July 2022. The exam was conducted across a few centers in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala & Rajasthan.
NEET Re-Exam Paper Analysis
- Overall Difficulty: Moderate. The exam was considered slightly easier than the exam which was conducted on 17th July 2022
- Section Wise Difficulty:
- Physics – Difficult
- Chemistry – Moderate
- Botany / Zoology – Easy / Moderate
- Syllabus Split: Class 12th syllabus was given more importance as compared to class 11th (there were 5% more questions from class 12th)
NEET UG 2022 Results
- The NTA has already released the official answer keys. The results should be expected any time now (tentatively this week or next week)
- The overall cut-off is expected to be higher as compared to previous year (this is due to higher number of applicants and lower overall difficulty of the paper)
- Candidates securing between 590 – 620 can expect government college seats
