In comparison to alloy C276 plate, alloy C2000 plate exhibits greater resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion as well as up to 65% H2SO4 resistance. In comparison to C-276 alloy, Hastelloy C2000 Coil exhibits superior localized corrosion resistance and outstanding stress corrosion cracking resistance.
Hastelloy C2000 is a multipurpose alloy that offers excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and other potent acidic media. In both reducing and oxidizing conditions, it gives excellent resistance. It can well tolerate corrosion processes.
Hastelloy C2000 Plates have excellent corrosion resistance to reducing media thanks to the combination of Molybdenum and Copper, while the high Chromium content provides good oxidizing resistance. Due to the low penetration qualities of nickel C2000 coils, good joint access (weld angle) and little land are advised.
