Instead, it takes an unpredictable turn where the individuals are fighting and praying for their lives. Carolyn is now determined not to let them go unless they accept to confess their sins. However, at this point, one can never help but wonder if the horrific and utterly gruesome killings are justified ends to all the lives taken. Or if Carolyn is crossing boundaries and making every individual suffer more than they deserve. An exceptionally intriguing question, but the answer can only be found upon reading.
It is no doubt that the plot thickens and leaves the readers drooling for more after every page they flip. And why shouldn’t it? While curiosity kills the cat but sometimes it is worth taking the risk. The story is not only thrilling but, at times, can make the readers experience feelings of uneasiness and, most likely, scared.
Carolyn is not on the mission to take lives without any reason, but the reasons for her anger, frustration, and temptation to make people bleed are worth exploring. The novel offers the readers an immense amount of thrill and suspicion worthy enough to find the clues to Carolyn’s revenge mission. One of the most interesting parts of the story is that Carolyn gives everyone the opportunity to come forward and speak the truth about the terrible things they did to her in the past. Even more interesting is the way she trapped everyone by inviting them to a hard-to-miss party. And it did the trick, everyone came, but never left!
It wouldn’t be wrong to say that a woman that is wronged can turn into a hideous monster. And Stain is the very tale defining not every woman faced with unfair challenges; experiencing unjust behavior can turn into an entirely unrecognizable individual. The plot becomes immensely complex when she and her brother and best friend get caught in the entire murder spree. But sometimes, protecting loved ones can come with a heavy price. Her husband decides to mend things by taking her life. The plot takes a twist when the readers come to realize that Carolyn has been the one all along trying to save her loved ones from certain unseen, supernatural entities.
The protagonist undergoes several intense life challenges, including experiencing the loss of her brother and her sister getting raped while herself being a continuous victim of abuse.
However, these challenges did not scare her, and instead of backing off, she always made the courageous move of taking a step forward. Resilience and steadfastness were two of her most potent weapons and closest allies. While life has always been difficult for her, it did not break her spirit or lose hope. With the gruesome murders taking place one after the other, the story offers a deep dive into the past sins of every individual, better to call them victims, to give readers a better idea of Carolyn’s actions.
A.D. Logan has undoubtedly produced a piece of epic thriller that is worth reading. He has let out his creativity to a remarkable extent; All this inspiration comes from his lonesome life in the military. The author enjoys hobbies such as reading, personal growth, and relaxing with some of his beloved friends. Stain is a horror thriller worth everyone’s time and should be on everyone’s bookshelf.
