Qutub Minar
A minaret in Delhi, built by Qutb-ud-din Aybak in 1199 AD. This tower of victory started by Qutab-ud-din but completed only after two centuries of Mughal rule. This red sandstone tower of victory rises to 72.5 meters and tapers from a 15-meter diameter at its peak to just 2.5 meters at its base. The core of the mosque is made up of demolished Hindu and Jain temples which were initially made from material taken from 27 Hindu and Jain temples which can still seen in intricate stone carvings on the mosque’s pillars, walls, and arches.

Red Fort
The beautiful Red Fort located in the heart of Delhi and made by Shah Jahan in 1648. The fort has a big garden known as the Mughal Gardens inside it. It also has Diwan-I-Aam, Diwan-I-Khas, Rang Mahal, Mumtaz Mahal and Khas Mahal inside it. The fort made out of red sandstone and gives a beautiful view at night when it is lit up.

Lotus Temple
Lotus Temple is also known as the Bahai temple because it belongs to the Bahai sect of religion. It looks like a lotus flower and has become a significant tourist spot in Delhi due to its unique architecture. A visit to the temple is only allowed in silence as this place belongs to all religions, and all people can come here to pray or meditate in silence no matter which religion they belong to. The temple can accommodate more than 2500 people at a time, and it has nine doors that lead towards the prayer hall, where you will find 27 marble petals arranged in clusters of three, forming nine sides of the temple.

Agra Fort

The city designed by Tahir Das and served as a capital city for only 14 years before abandoned due to a shortage of water supply. It is also known as ‘Ghost Capital’ or ‘City of Victory.’ It has some beautiful mosques as well as palaces that worth seeing.

The Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah
This Tomb, also known as the Baby Taj, built by Nur Jahan, wife of Jahangir, as a tribute to her father, Mirza Ghiyas Beg. Although not as big as the Taj Mahal and even overshadowed by its giant neighbor, this Tomb is equally impressive with its intricate carvings and delicate designs.

Nahargarh Fort
This fort overlooks the city on a mountain. It’s not as big as some of the other forts we visited. But it has one significant advantage—the view from here is incredible! You can see the entire city from here, and because it’s on a hilltop, you get a perfect vantage point of everything. There also many rocky outcroppings around the fort where you can sit down and take in all that beauty.
