About Airtel
If you are an aspiring SDE looking to land your dream job at Airtel, you have come at the right place.
Here, I am going to share my experience, but before that, let us learn a little about the company to understand its operations and goals in a better way.
Bharti Airtel Limited is the world’s largest telecommunications provider. It has offices in 18 Asian and African countries.
This is the primary reason why candidates from all around the world aspire to land a job in this prestigious firm. Let us now debunk and shed light about the interview process that you must prepare for, to effectively secure a job at Bharti Airtel.
Interview Experience
Online Exam:
- On the online exam, there were both multiple-choice questions and two coding exercises. Tiger analytics interview questions are similar to these questions as well.
- Both questions were easy or somewhat difficult, but I cannot recall the particulars.
- I was fortunate to solve both, and my efforts paid off as I proceeded to the following stage.
Round 1- Interview
The first round involves an interactive session with the concerned interviewer where several questions are asked. The interview generally starts on a lighter note where you introduce yourself and then gradually shifts gear and moves into the specifics.
At the start of the interview, the interviewer told me about himself and asked me about myself. He also enquired about a few of my current projects and if I had any link for the authorities to see my work.
This conversation extended to about twenty-twenty five minutes. Once he was done with knowing about my work, he proceeded to the testing part where he was going to test my coding skills.
- At first, he asked me to make a linked list that could only do a few things (like add or remove nodes).
- I immediately informed him of the idea and handed him the key.
- After that, he provided me with explicit instructions on how to configure the stack using the LinkedList that we had already created. (Business related to “Push and Pop”)
- In response to my question, he told me to make a queue (enqueue and dequeue operations) from the stack.
- After I described the ON technique, he wondered if it could be enhanced.
- When I responded to all of his questions, he was pleased. (60-minutes)
- The interviewer in my Airtel interview experience was really pleasant and cordial. I didn’t feel like I was being interviewed. I felt as though we were having a conversation.
Round 2- Interview
The second portion of the Airtel interview experience consists of a brief introduction followed by a discussion of my past and present activities. He popped up several inquiries regarding the Event Loop and the asynchronous features of JS.
- After a period of conversation, he asked me a coding question and how it works.
- After I explained how the procedure worked, he requested that I compose the pseudocode.
- This round took between 45 and 50 minutes to complete.
Round 3- Interview
We now move on to the last round, which essentially was a 15-minute meeting with an individual from the HR department. The interviewer for this round wanted to determine whether or not I would be a good fit for their company and how well I would adapt to the company culture. This was the shortest round of them all and lasted for around 15 to 20 minutes. Some of the questions he asked me here were:
- He questioned my understanding of how Airtel operated.
- Tell me about yourself, your goals, your passions and more.
- Would you be comfortable relocating to a new location eventually?
- Then he sent me an email with a link to an article and told me to explain it once I’m through with it.
- After explaining part, I was sent home with, ‘We’ll get in touch.’
Final Result:
A few days later, I received a call as well as an email about my selection.
Tips and Tricks

- Whether you are utilizing DS/Algo, Java, Python, or another language, make your fundamentals as simple as possible. In the end, they hold all the cards and can decide what will happen in regard to your selection.
- You should have confidence in your abilities, do everything you can to prepare, and maintain hope that things will improve.
- Attempt to avoid the horrible tutorial instruction.
- Good tutorials must contain implementation details (whether textual or video-based).
- How much you learn is unrelated to how many tutorials you complete.
- Don’t gloss over the answers you provided during your most recent Airtel interview experience.

- Think about how you can use your problem-solving skills to deal with and code DSA problems in the right way.
- People often fail because they don’t prepare for interviews well enough by only looking at past Tiger Analytics interview questions and not building a strong foundation or learning how to solve problems.

- Before looking for a solution, you should invest a great deal of time trying to solve a difficult problem on your own.
- Let’s first determine if it relates to anything else.

- Make your code as modular as possible, and give your variables meaningful names.
- Both the PS/DS interview and the machine coding round would benefit from this.

- Learn to explain how your past and present projects work and operate.

- You should be ready to talk about any projects you have done, whether they were personal, paid, or unpaid internships or school assignments.

- Creating and updating the CV

- When creating a CV, adhere to industry standards.
- Create a résumé that will catch people’s attention.
- Keep a resume that shows how well you did in programming contests, internships, contributing code to open-source software, and other things.
How to Prepare For an Interview?
- Having confidence in one’s problem-solving skills and knowledge of data structures and algorithms (PS/DS).
- Focus your complete concentration on the tasks you find most challenging.
- Pay close attention to the construction of these sub-topics and topics.
- Then you can address any difficulties that have arisen as a result.
- Perform a series of exercises to gain knowledge about machine coding.
- Each machine coding task can only be completed in 1.5 hours.
- Look at how other people have solved problems like yours, and then use what you’ve learned in your own life.
- If the code is clear and the layout is good, machine coding jobs should take about 1.5 hours to finish.
- Refresh your memory with the notes on Computer Science Fundamentals.
- Examine the notes you took in each of your computer science classes.
- You may need to go back and revise some of your earlier notes.
- Look over your notes and other information to identify the things that are giving you the most trouble.
- Find and correct the interview blunders that the majority of candidates make.
- On a whiteboard or piece of paper, write some simple code solutions to problems. This will help you become familiar with the process.
