Pembroke Pines, the name of the city is traced back to sir Edward Reed was the member of Britain’s parliament for the country of Pembroke in 1874 who purchased and farmed land in the 1880s which today occupies much of what is now the nearby city of Dania Beach. This park is a 450 acre area park and was established back in the 1990’s. The good thing about the view of the park is that it can be overseen by the city of Pembroke. The wetlands of the park are beautiful and it has more than 120 species of deer, rabbits, alligators, marsh, insects and birds.
EAGLE’S NEST:
The population of eagles was dwindling in Florida over the years and now it is very rare to get a chance to see one. However, the bald eagle’s nest has been discovered and it seems like the eagles are returning back each season to lay their eggs. There are various projects which are working to preserve the eagles in Pembroke Pines. Viewers are allowed to approach the nest but are requested to respect the bird’s space.

In 2007, this course had gone through $7 million renovations and has become one of the premier golf courses in Florida.
