All of these treks can be divided into three categories: easy, moderate, and difficult. These treks can be chosen based on your fitness level. We have listed 5 must-do treks.
1. Everest Base camp Trek:
Mount Everest is the world’s highest mountain. It will bring joy to your life to trek towards Everest Base Camp. The journey will begin in Kathmandu. You can fly a short distance to Lukla from Kathmandu. Lukla can be found in the south of Kathmandu. You can take the Namche Bazaar north from the South. Once you have reached the Namche Bazar, head towards Periche, Dingboche, and Lobuche. You can then head to the east side of Mount Everest’s base camp by heading towards Periche. Many prefer to trek from Jiri, a village located at Lukla. From Kathmandu to Jiri, buses are available for use. The distance between Lukla, EBC and Jiri is 50 km. It takes 14 days to experience this most difficult trek. High altitude Everest Base Camp trekking is not recommended for people with heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, asthma, and other conditions.
2. Prashar Lake trek:
Prashar lake can be found in Himachal Pradesh, Mandi. The lake is surrounded in the mesmerizing dhauladhar range. Baggi village, which is the base camp for the trek, is located 27km from Mandi. This trek is popular for winter treks. Snowfall occurs from December through March.At 8900 feet above sea level, the Prashar lake is located. The amazing lake can be reached in a 4.5- to 5-hour walk. The total distance covered by this trek is 7.5 km. There are direct buses from Delhi. Mandi is approximately 10 to 11 hours away from Delhi. There are several buses that will take you from Mandi to Baggi village. You will find the Prashar Rishi temple and the beautiful lake at the top. However, you can only visit this village in January or February if you wish to experience snow. This trek is easy for those with a good fitness level.
3. Kafni Glacier Trek
The Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand is where the Kafni Glacier is situated (Kumaon region). 3,853 metres are in elevation above sea level. The source of the Kafni River is Loharket.
4. Nanda Devi Base Camp, Uttarakhand:
Nanda Devi, the second highest mountain of India, is also known as Nanda Devi.
5. Chadar Trek:
It is at 11,400 feet. This trek is best done between January and February. The daytime temperature is between -10°C and 0°C. After sunset, it drops to -25°C. To adapt to the high altitude, you will need to stay in a hotel. Tilat Sumdo is a campsite where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Himalaya. Sinra Koma, which is famous for its scenic beauty, is just 10 km from here. Visit Tibb-Tibb and see the amazing waterfall and cave.It serves as the trek’s starting point.
