An Apprenticeship Standard defines the type of apprenticeship that an individual will be doing. There are three types: Advanced Intermediate, Higher Apprenticeship Standards and Higher Apprenticeship Standards.
These Apprenticeship standards were developed in collaboration by employers who identified the skills they required from their workforce to expand their businesses.
Apprenticeships are available in many formats, including part-time or full-time.
Apprenticeship Standards
The length of an apprenticeship can vary depending on the skills acquired. Apprenticeships combine work experience with studying towards qualifications.
The Apprenticeship Standard is set by the government, but employers have more control over how they’re managed. Employers form teams called Trailblazers in order to create new Apprenticeship Standards.
These standards can be quality-assured once they have been agreed upon before being made available to employers and apprentices.
There are currently more than 350 Standards in England.
Technical Education Apprenticeship Standard
Technical Education Apprenticeship Standard was established in collaboration between educators and employers.
This course is intended for people who are interested in becoming engineers or technicians. It will teach them the skills they need to work in these industries.
This Standard applies to many occupations like engineering technician, electrician, mechanical engineer, and building services engineer.
Apprenticeship Training
Apprenticeship Standard, a program that combines the Training programmed with work-based learning, is called the Apprenticeship Standard. No matter your age, you can start it at any time during the year.
Apprenticeship training is generally provided by a training agency that has been approved by the government.
The provider will help find you a job at an employer that offers Apprenticeships. The provider will help find you a job with an employer offering Apprenticeships.
You will be awarded a nationally recognized qualification after you have completed the Apprenticeship Standards. You may be eligible to continue your apprenticeship or get a degree.
How do you locate the correct standard?
There are many Standards to choose from, so it’s not difficult to find the right one.
You don’t need to be an electrician, web developer or accountant in order to be a nurse, accountant, or electrician.
It is simple to find the right apprenticeship if you have a clear career strategy. This is not true for all. It is important to consider the following factors when applying as an apprentice: wage, location and standard, and level.

Apprenticeship Methods
There are two types to Apprenticeship.
The Apprenticeship agreement
This agreement is between an apprentice and his employer. It describes the training required.
Apprenticeship Training Plan (ATP)
This document details the training that is required for an apprentice. It contains the Apprenticeship Standard, Apprenticeship frameworks or Trailblazer Standard as well as the duration.
At the end of your course, you will need to take an End-Point Assessment. You will be evaluated on your learning, skills, and behaviors throughout the course. Multiple assessment methods will be required.
An interview
Interviews will require that you talk to professionals about the job. Answering questions and providing detailed answers will help you demonstrate your understanding.
An Examination
Also, a test will be given where you will answer questions on your chosen topic. Every exam will be different depending on the standard.
Portfolio work
Portfolio work is often completed during your course. It is important to keep track when you have completed a campaign.
You will not be assessed by your employers or training providers, but an End point Assessment Organisations would.
