The main Clubhouses and Lifestyle Centers at several Boca Raton country club have recently undergone extensive renovations or new construction. While some are finished, others are still in progress. There are often some cost-of-living adjustments to yearly dues, and the majority of clubs begin their fiscal years on October 1 or November 1.
Because they are based on an established initial budget, assessments often don’t grow during the course of payment. At the beginning of the fiscal year, annual dues typically only rise once.
Even while the upfront capital contributions typically only go up at the beginning of the fiscal year. The board may decide to modify them at any point during the year if it sees fit.
To reflect the new, contemporary, increased facilities and increasing expenditures to maintain the amenities. Several of the clubs have seen significant increases in their equity/capital payments over the last few years. The demand for country clubs has increased significantly since the epidemic began in 2020. Not only for social or sports memberships but also for the golf component of the membership, which has also contributed to the rise.
Some clubs have removed or restricted new purchaser social memberships. Because their golf memberships are fully subscribed and/or they have switched to a wholly required golf community. Social memberships for current residents are grandfathered as long as they remain the property owner.

Boca Raton and Delray Beach Non-Mandatory Golf Communities
There are a number of golf clubs located in residential neighborhoods that either do not need equity or provide it as an option. When an outsider moves into the area and resides there, they are often eligible for non-resident memberships, which come with reduced fees.
Because any individual may purchase a property in a neighborhood that does not need a membership. The trade-off is that communities that require membership and have higher fees will have houses with prices that are comparable to those found in communities that do not require membership.
Non-Equity Golf Communities:
- Boca Pointe
- Boca Lago
- Boca Greens
- Boca Country Club – the golf course was donated to the City of Boca and will be a public course and also available to the community residents
- Boca Del Mar is the residential area to the east of Boca Pointe and Boca Grove. It does not have a golf course, but there are options to join other courses.
- Woodfield Hunt Club is a small residential section outside of the main Woodfield Country Club and you are not required to join the club membership but you have the option to join.
