Grocery stores are busier on weekends. If you go for grocery shopping on the weekend, you may have more time. On weekends, there are long lines at the checkout, it takes longer to find a parking spot, and you have to push your cart through more “traffic” in the store.
However, if you are shopping on a weekday, it is easier to find a parking spot. You no longer have to walk around the parking lot to find a spot. You also don’t have to follow customers to their cars and wait for them to leave their parking spots.
Lines at the checkout are shorter. So less time is spent paying for food.
There are fewer people in the aisles, allowing you to push the cart without disturbing others.
But what if shopping isn’t possible during the week? Try shopping at night. Most grocery stores are open at night.
Just go to the supermarket after work and do your shopping. That way, you won’t have to spend all your time shopping on the weekend and you can do other enjoyable things. More importantly, you can reduce the amount of time you spend shopping.
If you don’t want to spend time on food shopping after work, you can make a quick trip to the supermarket three times a week after work. But you can also do it five times a week or any other frequency you want. This way, you can share the “workload” of shopping for the week. Instead of spending an entire evening shopping, your evenings should be more consistent.
