When it comes to friendship day, children also want to join it. Parents can help their children make some great gifts they can present to their friends on this day. Everyone has friends regardless of age; everyone has people they can call their buddies. You can help your children make some amazing homemade gifts on this friendship day.
These gifts are great if you want them to give a personal touch of a homemade gift. These are great if you don’t like anything in the store or if you don’t want to buy it ready-made.
Let’s check out some of these gift ideas here.
Making The King And Queen
This will take some time to complete, but it will look amazing for gifting purposes. The raw materials are also handy that you can easily find in your home. However, some patience is also needed.
You would yield most of the raw material from the make-up boxes or the bathroom.
Things you need:
• Two empty bottles, you can use empty shampoo bottles. One should be slightly bigger than the other.
• Two small containers, you can use your face cream container.
• Two petroleum jelly boxes.
• Some thread, acrylic color, tissue paper, and glue.
Make a king’s body with the bigger plastic bottle. Glue the face cream container on top of the bottle, but upside down. Imagine it like the crown of the king and fit accordingly.
The same steps you need to repeat while making the queen. Use the slightly smaller bottle and glue the face cream container upside down as the queen’s crown.
Now when the glue is dry. Apply glue to the bodies of the king and queen. Place the tissue paper over this glue, so it sticks securely. Next, mix some glue in the water and gently apply it to the tissue paper on the bodies. Do it very lightly, or else you will end up tearing the tissue paper. Let it dry, and you are done.
Making The Robot
You can also make a robot-like figure for your children this friendship day. The raw materials are easily available in your home for this creation. Plus, the robot will be an interesting gift to give.
Things you need:
• Three face cream or cold cream containers
• Two small plastic bottles
• Four round bottle caps
• Acrylic colors and glue
Start with taking the three cream containers. Take the first bottle and place it upside down on the ground. Now place the second bottle over it, so their bases are in contact. Now take the third container and place it over the two containers. This will form the body and head of the robot.
We will make the robot’s hands and legs in the second stage. For this, use two round bottle caps and attach one plastic bottle at the center of these caps. This would be the robot’s hands; follow the same for the robot’s legs.
Now take these hands and legs and attach them to the robot’s figure using glue or gum, whatever works best. You can also glue some tissue on the robot’s body and let it dry. Now you can color the robot using acrylic colors.
Cards From Pastel Paints
