The UPSC Civil Services Exam (CSE) is conducted every year to recruit candidates to various civil services of the Indian central government such as IAS, IPS, IFS (Foreign), IRS, IP & TAFS, IFoS (Forest), ITS, etc. It is one of the toughest exams in the country.
The UPSC CSE is also popularly known as the IAS exam and is conducted subsequent to the release of the UPSC vacancy memo.
The UPSC exam is no shorter than a marathon I tell you. It has three rounds that you need to clear in order to be selected as an IAS officer. The first round that you’d have to clear is the Prelims, the second round is Mains, and finally, the third round is the personal interviews. Let’s now go on to the topic of UPSC Notification 2022.
UPSC released the official announcement for UPSC CSE 2022 on February 2, 2022. It is a full notice that includes the total number of openings, registration start and end dates, exam dates, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, and, of course, a link to apply online.
The registration period for 861 positions began on February 2nd, 2022, and ended on February 22nd, 2022.
Following the completion of the registration procedure, the UPSC IAS Prelims 2022 admit card was released on the 10th of May 2022.
The preliminary was slated for June 5, 2022, and it went off without a hitch.The mains exam is now the next destination. The mains examination will begin on September 16, 2022.
While the above information is final, UPSC made a minor change to one of the examination’s components. UPSC announced the increase in the total number of jobs in a subsequent announcement. The IRMS head will have a total of 150 openings. The total number of openings has now risen to 1011.
